What is Hope City Kids?
Every Sunday, babies through sixth-grade kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

What We Believe
At Hope City Kids we want your child to truly experience all that God has for them. We also believe that Sundays are just one part of your child’s faith training, so we partner with parents to help you be the primary faith trainer. We make learning about Jesus fun, while maintaining the integrity of God’s Word. The vision of Hope City Church, Love God, Love People, Share Jesus and Make Disciples is also the cornerstone of Kids Church.

Your First Visit
From the moment you pull in the parking lot, you’ll notice lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way.

Your First Stop will be the Student Center, where you’ll see signs directing you to the Kid’s Check-in station. Once you enter the doors, our team of volunteers will be there to greet you and your child. We want to make sure we get to know you and your little one, so we can serve you both well.
Then, we’ll assist you in filling out the online family registration if you haven’t already done so. This will ensure that we have all the necessary information about your child, including any medical conditions or food allergies. Please provide us with a cell phone number for each adult so that we can reach you if needed. And don’t worry, if your child gets upset, our caring volunteers will comfort them right away. If your child cries for more than ten minutes, we’ll text you to request that you come to their classroom.
Next, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. The parent sticker is what you’ll use to pick-up your child after service. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.
Lastly, one of our friendly team members will show you and your child to their classroom. You’ll be able to drop them off with peace of mind, knowing they’re in good hands. If we need to contact you during the service, we’ll send you a text asking you to come to the Hope City Kid’s Check-in Center.

Coming August 2nd : Champions, the special needs ministry of HC Kids!
Every child matters to us and deserves to hear about Jesus on their level. In Hope City Kids, children with special needs are provided an appropriate and supportive environment for the individual impacted by a disability or special need, while other family members attend worship services or desire to serve in the church.
Our Mission
To intentionally meet each child where they are, helping them experience God’s love through individualized care, biblical truth, and authentic relationships.
Our Vision
To be a ministry where every child is empowered to know God, grow in their faith, and experience the joy of being part of God’s family.
Before Your First Visit
To help us best serve your child and family, we ask that you complete our Champions Pre-Registration Form before attending your first Sunday.
This form allows our team to get to know your child ahead of time, including their strengths, communication style, sensory preferences, routines, mobility needs, and any accommodations that help them thrive. This information helps us prepare our leaders, ensure the appropriate support is available, and create a welcoming, successful experience from the moment your family arrives.
If possible, please submit the form at least one week before your first visit. If you’re planning to visit sooner, simply complete the form as soon as you’re able, and a member of our Champions team will reach out to connect with you.

We know every child is unique, and no one knows your child better than you do. Our goal is to partner with your family to provide a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment where your child can worship, learn, build friendships, and discover more about God’s love.

What we value
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We bring Bible stories to life through activities and conversations that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s Word and understand its value in their lives.
Relationships
We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a small group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Age-Appropriateness
Everything from our environments, to the language we use in our lessons, to our small group materials, are created with your child’s age and stage in mind.
Safety
We take lots of steps before kids arrive to keep them safe. Every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check. Our whole team — from staff members to small group leaders to safety personnel — are trained to keep your kids safe.
Fun
Kids love fun! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting. When children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back.
